Scale model of the Solar System
During this activity students will calculate the scale distances for each of the planets makes 93,000,000 miles=1 cm. Then students will use their rounded results to create a poster that represents the scale distances of the planets. Once my students were done I let them decorate with beads, string, and glitter! Once they complete their posters they will complete conclusion questions as a group.

A project designed for students to draw, label, and describe the geological features of the ocean floor (including continental shelf, continental slope, continental rise, abyssal plain, ocean trench, and mid-ocean ridge).
