Microsoft Word Travel Destination Test Project - Sub Folder
This is a three-page Word document that details a large project for Word Processing or Computer Applications students. The project asks students to choose a travel destination and create documents based on it. They are asked to create a brochure, a 500 word essay, an itinerary, a drawing, and a table.

Mi Carrera Ideal - My Ideal Career Project
This is one of the best and most comprehensive projects I have ever created! It combines the use of careers and professions vocabulary with real-life exposure to potential jobs. This project contains three parts: exploring careers, interviewing professionals, and presenting their findings. I gave this project to sophomores in Spanish level 3 at both the college prep and honors level. Not only do parents love this project, but the professionals too!

Engineering Design Process - Rubric
The engineering design process is used by engineers and is a cyclic process of prototype, design and redesign. This rubric is design to assess this process either in a notebook or a project. In next generation standards, and in general robotics/engineering classes the engineering design process is used. This resource is a valuable tool to assess student understand of this process.

Post-it RUBRIC: How to Sew a Button
This rubric targets all the essential elements of sewing on a button, including gathering supplies, strength, security, neatness, student effort & attitude, and cleanup. The format is designed to be printed on 3"x3' (standard size) post-it notes to be easily affixed to student work.
Simply print the template out on plain paper. Stick a post-it on top of each box. Then, re-run the document through your printer again and the text-box will be transferred to the post-it!

Media Influence on Food Choices - Create a New Food Product!
To emphasize the impact media has on our food choices, students will create a NEW version of their favorite food product and design an ad that is geared toward children. They will have to think about what attracts the attention of children and what flavors children will like for their new product and design of the ad. 20 point assignment.

This research paper should take a couple of days and could possible be stretched out for a week in the classroom (for best quality). Students are given three topics to choose from and are to research at least five different articles. They should use APA style throughout and list the pros and cons of each side of the topic that they chose. They are to use quotes from the articles they researched and explain how society and farmers are affected by the topic.
