Use this as an introduction to a woodworking/woodshop class. Requires rulers and a few candies. A great way to asses student's skills with measuring, drawing blueprints and following directions. Using design scenarios, students will create a blueprint and 3D design of the house.

Class Jobs for Special Education Adult Transition
Over the four years I have been in Adult Transition my class job titles have evolved from a simple "Waste Basket Monitor" to "Campus Crew" and have extensive duties. I wanted to provide job descriptions for each position I created and have set duties. Some positions have teams/crews that way it promotes student problem solving and encourages team effort.

Robot C PLTW programming practical exam cards
This is a set of 46 cards. Each card has a series of comands students are to write a program for. You can either have them write them out on index cards or actually write it out in the computer and download to robot.
This is a great way to check off their programming skills.

Robotics Team Job Application Task
Students apply for their specialized jobs in my competitive robotics class. This is an activity that we do very early in the school year to set a professional tone, and to help students imagine what it would be like to be an engineer hired for a project. The mini resumes created are also used in the FIRST competition notebooks as part of the bios section. Can be adapted for any large project or for a careers course. Rubric is included.

Organizing Student Daily Work Chart and Picture example -Editable
Give students a space to turn in work that is NOT your desk by assigning a file folder to each student and posting their Weekly Assignments on this template! I simply put the name of each daily activity on the chart. When the students finish the assignment, the put it in their folder by the end of class. At the end of each week, they pull out the work, staple it together and turn it in. If it is all completed (accurately), they get a 100 formative grade! It is GREAT to use when a student is abs

Project Lead The Way Automation and Robotics Roles and Responsibilities
This is for the Automation and Robotics Course it is used for groups of four but could be adapted for a group of 5. It describes the expectations for each role. I typically put it in the middle of the table and laminate it so it is there the whole course. Page two comes with letters. I put each letter at a seat on the table and then rotate who is what role based on the letter.

Shop Cleanup Final
The shop clean up final has a list of 79 clean up jobs that can be split up between multiple students. Some jobs can be done by more than one student, especially if you teach more than one shop class. The clean up jobs also require each student to clean out their own lockers, take an end of the year survey that most CTE admin create (survey not included), and having students turn in all items that are to be graded (such as their final project).
