I use this in Spanish 1 classes on September 11th. Students read in Spanish about what occurred, paying close attention to cognates and numbers.

Spanish AR Verbs Practice Worksheet
This is a quick way to formatively test students on their ability to recall AR verbs in their infinitive forms, and then translate a few sentences to English. I like to use this as a deductive way to introduce conjugating to them. Since they should already know subject pronouns, they should be able to see how the infinitives they're learning will change depending on the subject based on the sentences they read.
