Unit on the Earth's atmosphere focusing on Conduction, Convection and Radiation. Students define the terms in a foyer box (examples and pictures). The next part is a description of the way those 3 types of energy heat the earth's atmosphere. The independent practice is to sort out 10 different "activities" to decide whether they are are conduction, convection, or radiation. There is a multiple choice exit slip - great for data. I had to use some scrap paper to give some extra help to make the layers stand up as seen in one of the photos. I got this from another teacher and edited it, it was originally only layers of the Earth.

Photosynthesis vs. Cellular Respiration Coloring & Table
This worksheet helps students understand the differences & similarities between photosynthesis & cellular respiration. It has them color various parts of the connected cycles (such as coloring arrows that show water blue, carbon dioxide red, etc.). After coloring, it has students put the "ins" & "outs" of each cycle into a table. I typically have students copy that table down in their notebooks as notes.
