I read (in English) French literature to my middle school students. With each book, I have developed a packet for them to use which represents each chapter. Students love being read to, even in middle school. I also show the pictures of each chapter on the smart board as I read. At the end of the book, which takes a couple of months to read since we only do two chapters a week, we watch the movie as well. Easy introduction to French literature.

An activity for Halloween- or anytime! There is a blank house and then there are sentences in French like "There is an owl in the tree." "There is a vampire in the window to the right of the door." Tic Tac Toe conjugation activity for reflexive verbs
Tic Tac Toe (or "Morpion" in French)is a great partner review game/activity. Students can practice their reflexive verbs in a more fun way since they're competing against a partner. While they're in pairs working on this it frees up the teacher to walk around the room checking on their progress and providing necessary feedback.
Although this activity is in French now, it can be edited and changed into Spanish since it is on a Word doc.
