This is a fun project that really tests the self-will of the students! Life was very different for children who lived in the early years of our country – no electricity, no running water, no fast-food restaurants – to name a few. I wanted my students to experience just a little bit of what things were like. In this project, students will give up their use of technology for three days!! They will also have chores to do around their home, as well as do good deeds for friends, family and neighbors!
