Kitchen Sanitation Inspection Form for Culinary Arts or FACS Students
I like to coordinate with our school cafeteria to have my students do a mock safety inspection. I send them all in with clipboards and this form and they poke around until they find all the answers.
Great practice looking for proper sanitation guidelines and procedures!
Have them conduct the inspection in your kitchen/classroom every once in a while to keep them focused on cleanliness and safety.

Asklepios and Healing in the Ancient Greek World and Today
This lesson builds upon previous knowledge and myth of Ancient Greece, using archaeological evidence found in Ancient Corinth as a case study. Students will learn about ancient healing practices through study of the Greek healer-god Asklepios. The personality of the god and his cult will be illustrated through different means: offerings and inscriptions dedicated in his sanctuaries. An adapted reading from Aristophanes’ Wealth (Ploutos) provides a basis for examination of the healing practices.
