Desert Survival is an activity a teacher and I made during distance learning (our students rated it highest out of anything). I have used this as an introduction to Arabia twice and an introduction to West Africa once. I think it works better for a unit heavily focused on Pre-Islamic Arabia and the geography of that region.Basic premise, you go on a field trip and the teacher crashes the plan - Magic happens and you are the only one left alive (but every student is somehow in different places ha

This product is a template to create your own virtual museum. Due to virtual and distance learning, it is difficult to take our students on field trips. Additionally, most real museum's virtual trips are not what we want exactly. Now you can bring the museum directly to your students, AND it will have exactly what YOU want them to see!Use the five rooms provided to link various artifacts that students can explore. I personally plan to use this for a social studies unit on Native American tribes.
