This project assesses students' knowledge of some of Jesus' key teachings, including the Beatitudes, the Sermon on the Mount, and the parables.
It offers a choice of 3 options, which allow students of many different strengths the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding effectively. Life Skills Rubric for Students
I use this as a tool to aid in evaluating students' life skills. This 4 page document includes rubrics for; attentiveness, responsibility, working independently, completing work carefully, being cooporative, being respectful, and social maturity. The last page has a section for writing individual student goals. This has been a life saver when parents have come complaining about a life skills grade their child received.

I give this to my students a few times a year when they can self-assess their social responsibility skills. I normally use it to promote discussion. I also have them do this before they do report cards and I send it home with them. You can also use a different colour pen and mark them as well if you want. I only mark it, if I disagree with them in some area.

I use this project as a beginning of the semester project in order to get to know students but this can also be used as a goal setting activity. Students set goals for what they want to be, do, have and create a collage around those topics. We use computers, but this could also work with magazines and pre-printed pictures. Personal Historical Moments
Get to know your students by having them showcase their most important moments in life! This easy to follow rubric will have you and your students happy to participate. I usually brainstorm as a whole class first examples of things they could put down for their "historical moment." The activity I have the kids work on for a day in class and then they get a weekend to finish. I use this with my history students but it can really be for any class!
