Black History Month Project for Math and Science Rubric
This documents provides a rubric for a Black History Month Project which includes a biography and a presentation. This project can easily be modified for Women's History Month and National Hispanic Heritage Month. Students are graded on 4 categories which are worth a total of 5 points each. The project is worth 20 points and can easily be converted to a percentage by multiplying by 5.

Agriculture Research Assignment
This research paper should take a couple of days and could possible be stretched out for a week in the classroom (for best quality). Students are given three topics to choose from and are to research at least five different articles. They should use APA style throughout and list the pros and cons of each side of the topic that they chose. They are to use quotes from the articles they researched and explain how society and farmers are affected by the topic.

Icebreaker Slideshow Project - Rubric
At the beginning of my Technology course, I have students introduce themselves through a Google Slides slideshow. This slideshow serves both as the first project of the semester and as an important icebreaker where students are able to teach the class about themselves and bond over mutual interests and backgrounds.
Categories include "About You", "Hobbies and Interests", "Cultural Background", and "Technology Background".
Students really love this activity, and barely think of it as a project!
