Choral Rehearsal and Performance Self Evaluation
It is important that students self assess their progress both in rehearsal and after performances. This rubric allows them to do both. I usually have them complete it (in pencil) after watching a video of a rehearsal a week or two before the concert date. Then we discuss it to prepare for the performance. After the concert, we watch that video and reassess (with highlighter). I then use it as a guide when I am assigning grades for the concert.

The Wizard of Oz Novel Unit
This is a 20 day unit over the novel The Wizard of Oz. It has great potential to become a school wide, cross curricular unit if desired. This unit is complete with essential questions, power points (one original and one from a public web site), original rubrics, handouts, and links to free web sites with activities and graphic organizers.
