Students will love recording and editing with this simple GarageBand project. Other audio workstations work too! This lesson was designed for my high school "Adaptive" music class but could easily be used with Grades 3+

This PowerPoint bundle by Can Do Class includes a finger vocabulary poster, text and audio for engaging songs to rehearse finger names, and a worksheet for students to fill in finger names. An original song depicting children begging their mother to let them play the DS/XBox/Playstation longer (written with my 8yo son in mind). Written to be sung one line at a time, then sung simultaneously to create a great little two-part harmony. "Virtual teaching" ZOOM meeting ideas
These zoom class meetings are perfect for early childhood/early elementary classrooms! The Keyboard Song!
A fun way to introduce students to the computer keyboard. The song is sung to "Oh, My Darling Clementine!" To extend the lesson, younger students can find the first letter of their name on the keyboard and color it in.

Call & response to help students learn the tech vocabulary word mouse. As students learn the word, add a student "beat box" for accompaniment, and the students now have a rap to perform.
Reading is enforced by displaying the lyrics on a Smartboard, and pointing to the words as they are said.
