Fun Magic School Bus Mad Libs Game Activity

Down by the Bay ~ Class Book
This adorable download includes 2 options for a class book: vertical layout or horizontal layout. You will receive a page for children to complete and a cover for your class book. After singing (and singing and singing...) the song with your class, have the children either share their favorite rhyming pair from the song OR brainstorm a list of animals and rhyming words to go with them. The children can then illustrate their rhyme and use the lines underneath to write about it.

Give Yourself a Hug - Music Enrichment - Self Regulate
Ms. Janis' song, "Give a Hug" is a great way to reward young children without giving them a stamp or a sticker. This song allows children to congratulate themselves on a job well done by doing activities such as giving themselves a clap to make themselves feel good on the inside about their accomplishments. The song can be used at the end of the day or at the end of an activity that has been successfully completed. Ms. Janis uses this song with pre-k and kindergarten children.

We Will Rock You Hallway Chant
I wrote this little jingle for my students to sing before we enter the hallway! They absolutely love it because it is to the tune of "We Will Rock You." I yell out "Stomp, Stomp, Clap" to get the song going. Students begin stomping twice and clapping once to get the beat of the song going. Once everyone has the beat going we begin to sing! This is by far their favorite hallway jingle and it really helps get them silent for the hallway! I hope you enjoy!

Magnaccia is a fun, yet challenging piece with the feel of a tango (It. "Ritmo di Tango") written for piano. It contains a few splashes of atonality and a pinch of jazz.
