Fall Voice Warm-up - Elementary Music - Pitches So Mi La - Singing Warmup
This is a quick and simple voice warm up I use for reinforcing pitch icons. There are purposefully no sound files, so you can change the intervals and key to fit your lesson. Each page has a short 3-5 note melody that you can assign syllables to or sing on "la."

Seasons Song with Seasonal Iconic Notation Cards - ta ti-ti, so-mi, la
I hope you will get lots of mileage out of this little gem. This is a simple, delightful song I learned years ago in my first Kodaly certification course. I teach this tune (the fall verse) to K-2 children in late September and revisit it as the seasons change, moving from a singing game (hiding and finding a fake bird or flower) and rhythm exploration (mapping with silk leaves) to iconic notation and composition activities, depending on students' readiness.

This activity was a big hit with my students! I did it with my 3rd and 4th graders and also my middle school choir. We were studying John Williams for our monthly composer.
