Seis: a dice race game reviewing subject pronouns (Spanish 1)

This is a fun yet simple way to review subject pronouns. Each student receives a worksheet, and each group of three or four students receives a dice and pencil. They take turns passing the dice, trying to roll a six. The first person to roll it yells "Seis," grabs the pencil, and begins filling in their worksheet. The other students continue rolling the dice and grabbing the pencil once they roll a six. My students love this game, and I love it as well. Since a student's score depends on both

Great for kids to just learning to tell time in Spanish. These are digital times not analog.

The student with the card then says the answer, and all students with the correct answer advance one space. If a card ever stumps all of the writers, the student with the card gets to advance two space

Manzanas con manzanas - Apples To Apples Game in Spanish

This is a Spanish version of the card game "Apples to Apples." I created these cards for my intermediate-level students. The nouns are basic to intermediate and run the gamut from los zombis to Penelope Cruz. There are 153 red (noun) cards and 108 green (adjective) cards. The game is played in groups of 4-5 students. To play, one student assumes the role of judge for the first hand. The judge deals 5 red (noun) cards to each player, then selects a green (adjective) card from the stack. Using t
