High school teacher of Spanish, University TA, lecturer and part-time professor of French. Afternoon instructor and coordinator for an immersion French camp (ages 5-13).
My teaching is based on finding cultural connections, personal reflections, and learning language through a communicative approach. I use realia and news on a weekly basis to help inform my students of the issues that effect their communities and other communities around the globe, and allow my students to explore how they relate to these communities.
