3rd Grade Reading STAAR Bingo Vocabulary Game
I created this bingo game while looking at previous STAAR tests and lists of “stem questions” for reading. I noticed many of my students (especially my ELLs) had trouble with terminology used on the test. I wanted a fun way for them to become more familiar with the test vocabulary.
I used this game whole class, small group, during tutoring, and I even gave it to my Tier II and Tier III teachers who were enlisted to help prepare them for the reading test.

This is a version of the game of Clue that forces students to use inferences to deduce the clues and figure out the details of the murder. Jenga Comprehension Questions
I have developed 54 reading comprehension questions. You can cut these questions out, then tape them on to individual jenga pieces. Students take turns drawing the pieces, if the student does not topple the tower, they do not have to answer the question. If they do, they must answer all of the previous questions.
