Animal Diorama Project with Rubric
This is a complete animal diorama project, in which the students choose an animal and create an animal and habitat diorama in a shoebox along with a four paragraph report about the animal. The students will write about the animal's characteristics, habitat, diet, and what they learned. The report can be adjusted down to a fill-in-the-blank type of activity if paragraph writing is too difficult for the students; there is a planning sheet included to make this possible.

Genetic Disorder Presentation (PPnt & Presentation...Rubric & Explanation)
This is such a great research project after students have learned about genetics, DNA, and mutations. It ties in all of the curriculum and makes it real life.
