This is a great group project option! It is so fun to see what your students come up with and can be used multiple times throughout the year. You can guide your students to base it on a specific theme, holiday, or whatever works best for students! This project can take around 3-5 days to complete. If you have a group that finishes faster, try having them memorize their lyrics to take it to the next level. You can even make it a competition between all the groups for the best performance!

Compose Recorder B-A-G Song (2-parts)
This projects allows students to take autonomy of their own learning and use all of the tools they have learned throughout our recorder unit to apply to their own music. The students absolutely loved creating their own pieces and on the day it was due I set up a "stage" to create a fun environment for the groups to perform their music.
