This product is good for teaching positon words to your students in a fun and interactive way! I allow for each of my students to decorate their own snowman. When they are done decorating I collect them.
When it's time to sing and dance I then pass their snowman out and ask for them to sing along and follow the instructions of the song!

I use these poems as monthly poems throughout my school year as Shared Readings with my first graders. I use them at my calendar time. We finish Calendar Math with the poem of the month and every year each group has loved them and learned more difficult words with the repeated readings!
