Have students cut out the food items and paste them into a menu. They can paste the coins next to items to show how much an item costs, OR they can use the coins to pay for items. When I did this with K-3 students, I brought in all the foods and drinks and had a mini Oktoberfest with my class. Students had to order the foods they wanted in German, and pay for them. Each student was given 8 Euro and could spend it on the foods and drinks s/he wanted.
