Pokemon Go - Game Template with optional QR Codes

Teacher Directions
Now is your chance to take advantage of the latest craze: Pokemon Go! You can treat your students to a fun, creative, active learning challenge, with your very own version of Pokemon Go in the classroom!

Just like with the popular mobile game, your students will be moving around the classroom, trying to “catch” all the Pokemon. They accomplish this by correctly answering each question. Each answer will match one of the signs that you will have posted around the classroom, at each “Pokestop”. They will then discover the name of the Pokemon that they have “captured”. For example, if the student answers question #1, and their answer is “George Washington”, they can search for a corresponding sign marked with “George Washington”. Whatever Pokemon appears on the corresponding sign, is the one they have captured.

Getting Started
The first step is writing your questions. Replace the red text questions with your own. Also, replace the red text answers on either the QR code cards or the picture cards.

A key for the correct Pokemon has been provided, on page 5. You will need to fill in the blanks with the specific answers for your particular game or activity, but you can check students' work (or have them check their own work) by using the correct list of Pokemon, which I have provided.

I do not claim ownership of the Pokemon characters, but I did go to the effort of making this template for you!
