I created this file as a resource for an AP Art History field trip to the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, NY. I found that there were no resources to guide me and my students specific to the AP art history course. I wanted to give my students the opportunity to see the images we studied through text and slides in person as a way for them to study for the exam. I wanted to give my students a walking tour through art history. A resource did not exist, so I created it! This resource is i

Excel 2010 Tutorial - Intro to Excel, data entry and formatting

This is definitely a beginner, novice level, newbie assignment! Students learn basic data entry as well as how to use the AutoFormat feature to make tables look nice and colorful! This is literally the first exercise I give my students in an Excel unit. Being a Canadian, I am affirming the stereotype about us loving hockey by making this an NHL (fictional) standings data table :)! Obviously, students could choose NFL, NBA, MLB or other nonsports related information to include in their table.

In this activity, your students will be charged with recording and assessing sales trends for all the months of a year for the designers. They will use Sparklines to visually represent the ups and downs in a yearly sales cycle. Sparklines are an easy and effective way to express trends without creating graphs. They are useful as a means of interpreting data trends over time. Students wil

This resource is for grades 6-8, but can be used for any grade or subject, with each column being a different week of the semester. Grades 7 and 8 are semester long courses, while grade 6 is only 9 weeks long. With the editable format, you are free to change, add, or subtract any information or formatting to suit your needs.
