When teaching Literary Devices, I find that providing the definition, an image and an example helps them remember the different types. These are six 8.5 x 11" pages consisting of information on Alliteration, Idioms, Personification, Onomatopoeia, Metaphor and Simile. Each has an orange border. I use these while teaching each device and then I post them on the wall in my classroom. We refer to them many times throughout the year.
