The H Brothers Posters & Story
Help teach children about the common digraphs sh, ch, wh, th by using characters known as the "H Brothers". I couldn't find a good set, so I drew my own and adapted a story to go along with it. It's a little different than the usual, but the children love it!
The document includes images of my original posters that can be made smaller or larger depending upon your need. I set MS Word for legal sized paper. Enjoy!

Tattle Tongue Anchor Chart Labels
Julia Cook is a wonderful author! She wrote a book called A Bad Case of Tattle Tongue. I made an anchor chart and sketched out parts of the book with my students. We discussed the four rules and practiced various situations. This was a great beginning of the year activity and it greatly helped my young students figure out the difference between tattling and telling!

Super Hero Story Lesson Plan
A creative writing activity that will incorporate different lessons in ELA. Students will write an original Super Hero Story in first person by starting off with, Brainstorming, Creating a Guideline or story map of story elements, creating a rough draft, Peer edit, revising, and rewriting. My Pumpkin Emoji Writing Activity
