TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My first step in education was directing Big Brothers Big Sisters' school mentoring program for at-risk youth. After, I decided to pursue my teaching certification. Currently, I am bringing 4+ years of experience to my fourth grade classroom, as well as being the co-chair on my school's curriculum team. I enjoy teaching and learning with my students and fellow teachers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a reflective, compassionate, and flexible educator, I strive to progress professionally, learn from the best, and share with others along the way. With classroom goals, students have space to continuously do their best and integrate learning into all aspects of life. My classroom is designed for teachers and students to cooperatively create a safe and encouraging environment conducive for exploring options and developing the skills, confidence and curiosity to be life-long learners.
