Be Like a Tree 101
Be Like a Tree 101 is an interactive series of seven short videos with original songs describing different aspects of trees: trees in history, the many blessings we get from trees, dangers of wildfires, love of trees, the secret lives of trees, roots in the underground, and the many different types of trees. Public Service Announcement Semester Project
This project is meant to be a semester final project. Each team will produce one video PSA (live-action or animated) of between 2 minutes and 5 minutes in length on the topic selected by the team. I have used this project for 5 years with great result! Students really get into the production of the video. It is a great project for Environmental science, history, economy, or biology.

This video is intended to support learning about the water cycle, using the visual idea of a magical water drop to express the many ways that water can appear in nature. The film opens and closes with the ocean as the source and destination of the cycle, even if the flow is interrupted when water resides for vast amounts of time in caves, aquifers, or polar ice. After the opening coastline, water is shown as vapor, followed by 4 seasonal liquid and solid forms, closing again with a coastline.
