Tiny Food
We love using pop culture as the inspiration for our projects and lessons. At the moment, tiny things as well as foodie things are the current craze. Who hasn’t taken a picture of their food or watched a tv show about someone living in a tiny space or building a tiny home? In this lesson, students will be taking inspiration from both trends by creating tiny food displays with clay. These tiny food displays can easily integrate the visual arts with health, nutrition, world cultures, etc.

Classroom Organization: Organizing Student Supplies
Help your students stay organized! Here is a Seat Pouch Tutorial made from jeans. Don't throw those jeans out! Upcycle and re-purpose them. These seat pouches are fairly easy to make and quick and DURABLE. They made a huge difference when I started using them especially when I only had tables. They help with classroom management because children don't have to get up all the time to get things.
