Future Leaders Improving the World Lesson
I mean, really I should be charging $50 for this Oscar worthy performance, or, well perhaps I should be paying you to have to endure my terrible acting skills. Anyway, what's most important is this really creative idea to teach future leadership skills complete with nifty essay questions to ask students to help them critically think how they can personally improve the future. I really push leadership skills with my students and always stress to them how one person really can make a difference. H

Peacemakers Throughout History
This project aims to address many components of social and academic growth in middle school students. This unit was originally written for 5th graders, but could be easily adapted for 6th, 7th or 8th graders. Students work collaborative to research a peacemakers, independently write and informative piece and as a class create a video showing the qualities of a peacemaker and how those qualities can be applied to them.
