Place Value City Interactive Manipulative
Do your students struggle with identifying place values? I have created a "city" that allows you to add as many different "blocks" as you need. This tool is customizable for many grade levels. This would be a great RTI tool, or for use in a special education classroom. Actual pictures, a materials list, and instructions are provided.

Scale Factor Project - Make a Class Cookbook
This is a short, simple, in-class project for students to practice using scale factor. Students are instructed to bring a recipe to class, and use scale factors to change the recipe for smaller or larger yields.
I have included my mother's recipe for Texas Caviar as an example.
The class I created this for was named "Math Power" which you will see in the file. I have left this file as a Word document so that you may personalize the details to fit your class.
