Swat the Answer-addition fact game
Swat the Answer is a game for the whole classroom, or a small group. Two players stand on either side of the board with a fly swatter in their hands. Continue the Patterns
The students will use the pattern stripe to continue the pattern.
Each pattern strip includes different shapes and/or pattern. There is pattern strip for each of the following pattern types: AB, ABB, AAB, ABC, and ABCD. Use foam, plastic, or paper shape manipulatives to continue the pattern. The students can continue the pattern on the blank square areas available and continue the pattern off the strip onto their work area.

Centers/Stations Template
This is a very handy organizer and visual to use when doing centers in your classroom. I got the idea from my mentoring teacher and brought it to my classroom last year. Since ELA is such a complex class and often concentrated to fit the 90 minute time frame, I break my centers up into 3 days. That allows the students to get more time in each center. I spend the last 30 minutes of class doing 2 rounds of 15 minutes, but you can set the timer as you please.

Subitizing Smartboard File
This smart board file is a collection slides with different dot configurations to be used for subtilizing. Dots range from 1-5. The game is "Tell Me Fast". Flash a slide and quickly move to the next slide which is blank, when you land on the blank slide ask students how many they saw and what configurations they saw (3 and 2, 1 and 4).

Rolling For Place Value Fun
Students will roll the interactive dice and decide the largest 3 digit number they can make with the digits they rolled. Students will then build that number using the given hundred flats, ten rods, and one cubes. Students will use the same rolled dice to make the smallest 3 digit number and repeat the directions above. (Detailed directions inside the file). Koosh Ball Counting and Making Money Practice
This smart file was created to provide a fun and engaging way for students in lower elementary grades to practice counting and making coin amounts. The students will sort through all the puzzle pieces and decide which ones will not fit in the puzzle, because they do not match the other pieces (all pieces will equal the same amount). Once they have all the correct pieces, they put the puzzle together.
