Adding Ending Punctuation
A sentence must end with punctuation. Not every sentence ends with a period. Using punctuations makes writing easier to read. With this activity, students will be focusing on understanding when to use a period, a question mark, and an exclamation point. Included is a slide to introduce the lesson’s objective. The what? A Valentine's Day Letter Using the Writing Process
I created this Smartboard Lesson for first grade, but it can be used for kindergarten and 2nd grade as well. A writing program based on The Daily CAFE program for reading (The 2 Sisters).
