Fraction Smartboard Lesson/Notes/Worksheets
This is an introductory smart board lesson about fractions. The goals of the lesson are to define a fraction, identify the top and bottom part of a fraction, consider fractions in everyday life and write a fraction given a picture. Attached are notes that students can take during the lesson. Also attached are practice worksheets that aligns well with the practice during the lesson.

This activity is used to teach children how to find fractions on a number line. Children will be active throughout the lesson. With a small amount of preparation, you can teach how to find the number line fractions and play the game. Add a little tropical music to make the lesson even better.
This is excellent practice for those learners who are visual and kinesthetic learners. This helps put fractions into pictures and makes the lesson activity enjoyable for all.
It comes with 18 slides with fraction scenarios on them. Great practice or review.

This lesson is the smartboard version of my Summer Foods Graphing and Fraction Practice printable. I use the smartboard with this lesson while the children have the paper copy at their desks. Simply move the food image up on the graph to mark which food is a favorite.
This is a smart board lesson on the fractions. It introduces the fractions 1/2 and 1/4. There are teacing slides and a sorting slide. A very good introductory lesson.
Infinitely cloned fraction rods for a whole , 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/8, 1/10, 1/12. Rods can be duplicated as much as needed by placing you hand (or mouse) on a rod and dragging it to another space.
