I have developed content questions for 7 short stories, 6 of which are from Thomas King's A Short History of Indians in Canada Short Story Anthology. There is a detailed answer key with page numbers and quotations. The questions address serious issues of racism, identity and stereotypes in the Indigenous Community, as well as Short Story terms/elements/concepts. The stories themselves are not included and must be found in the anthology or on line.

Dead White Writer on the Floor is a fabulous play by Drew Hayden Taylor. It is perfect for the new Grade 11 NBE Native Based Education English Course. I have composed content questions for each act; 52 questions in total. I have included a full answer key complete with page numbers and direct quotations. Using old media clips to compare Indigenous stereotypes to the characters in the play is very engaging for the students.
