I am currently in my 26th year of teaching and curriculum writing in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have taught second, sixth, and fifth grade (in that order). At present, I am teaching fifth graders in Colorado Springs School District 11.
I utilize a unique blend of whole group and small group teaching methodologies incorporating numerous styles like McRel and Richard Allington. I enjoy utilzing my own curriculum to enhance any skill and concept being taught. I use short stories, raps, songs, quizzes, organizers, games, and so much more to keep my students engaged.
