Episode 3 "Trail of Tears" is about the heartbreaking chapter of Indian Removal in the 1830s of the Cherokee and other Five Civilized Tribes of the southeastern United States to Indian Territory west of the Mississippi River.
This set of video questions goes chronologically with the episode to help students understand the events, political deception, process of assimilation, and ultimate removal of the Cherokee on the Trail of Tears in 1835.
