5 Bright Buttons Carpet Time Song | Shape Carpet Game Preschool | Kindergarten
This fun buttons song (rhyme, poem) for carpet time is one of my students’ favorites! It works great for a Pete the Cat or clothing thematic unit. Math Estimation Jar Take Home Fun
Have fun in math as children take turns bringing home the class "Estimation Jar" each week. When the jar is returned on Monday, children write their estimations on sticky notes. Make sure to use that rich math vocabulary as the items are laid out, grouped, and skip counted. Discuss greater than, less than, tallying, and size as upon completion. This book is based on the lyrics of Dr. Jean's "Numeral Song". My students love Dr. Jean! We use her songs and videos a lot in my kindergarten classroom.
