I recently graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Exceptional Student Education with a Minor in Music Studies. Previously, I was a Paraprofessional for Pre-K Deaf and Hard of Hearing as well as for Secondary Education for a Read 180 program. I have published a Children's CD that aired on various Children's Radio Programs throughout the nation as well as was sold in stores.
I use multiple modalities to teach students and use differentiated instruction as well as data monitoring and find that music helps students learn faster and easier as well as helps them to put the information being taught into long term memory.
I was a SCATT member, which is the SunCoast Area Teachers Training Honors Program at the University of South Florida.
I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bechelor's Degree in Exceptional Student Education and a Minor's Degree in Music Studies. I received my AA at Hillsborough Community College.
I am also a mother of three and have led worship either on Mainstage or for Children's programs, as well as camps and concerts for people with disabilities for the past 16 years. In addition, I write music, sing, and publish. I have been volunteering, being a Paraprofessional, and now will be teaching for the past 6 years.
