Do your student tend to have difficultly with word problems? This chant a great way to elleviate intimidation and get students focused on tackling those complex problems! Classroom Implementation: When teaching word problems for the first time, I go over these strategies with students. In order to get students to remember the check list, I will say: "What type of problem?" and students will echo "WORD!"
