MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I worked at the Welsh Government for many years, supporting Ministers with their work, including the Minister for Education. in 2005 I finally took the plunge, gave up my day job and retrained as a teacher with the University of Worcester. I qualified in December 2006 and haven't looked back. I specialise in Language and Literacy, although I also have a vast amount of experience teaching Maths and the full range of Foundation subjects (Social Studies in the USA). Currently I am working full time at the local authority, heading up an Inclusion team supporting children learning English as an additional language, Gypsy Roma Traveller children and homeschoolers.
