Description
"Down On the Farm" is a 4 minute, karaoke style video, that students can sing along with to help learn about basic fractions. It introduces 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, and 1/5. It is based on fractions of farm animals. Geared toward second grade, although first and third may enjoy it as well.
The video integrates music, math, reading, and animation. You can use it as an introduction, part of a lesson, fraction review, clean-up song, or just for fun.
The video can be played on an interactive whiteboard, computer monitor, iPod, iPad, etc.
I have also included two activities to practice the Songfacts.
