According to Erikson, each person must navigate through a series of interrelated stages in their life cycle. The key idea in Erikson's theory is that every individual will face a conflict at each stage, which may or may not be successfully resolved.

Brain / Neurological Disorder Webquest Research
This handout includes the guidelines and expectations, as well as rubric, for a research assignment. I give this assignment after we have completed the human body chapter on the nervous system, but the psychology teacher has used it in her class, as well. Students enjoyed having choice and were highly interested in their topics, as well as hearing about others.
Psychology Project Fast Forward and Diving Deeper
For a fun break in my Psychology class, I assign this short project. It gives students a choice to look in to some "popular" psychology topics. The topics are all very interesting. In the 1st step, students choose one of the many topics. Then they listen to their classmates do their very short speeches. When everyone is done presenting, each student must choose a topic they thought was really interesting and "dive deeper" into it. The students love this project and it's a great short break

PowerPoint over profiling a serial killer, the major project, sign up sheet for classes, due dates of each section of the project and a rubric within the actual project.
