Help Wanted Poster- Career Activity
After students have looked at careers using a career survey have them create a help wanted poster for that career! Students will have to think from the POV of the employeer to put together a job listing for a career related to agriculture incluidng requirments of the job, specific skills, location, etc. Students will then have to write 10 interview questions to go with this job listing to ask in the interview later on in the unit. Extension- have students use this posters to fill out a basic job

Great Professionalism Rubric for any class! This one is made for a Culinary Arts or Foods class and includes a section on lab attire but can be fitted for any course. It also includes a link to my Classroom Expectations Poster. I used this as 10% of their grade every 6 week grading period. Once they see how much a tardy, phone use or sleeping affects their grade, they typically stopped that behavior and got rewarded for being a good student instead!
