A rubric that I made specifically for our textbook series Discovering French Bleu/Blanc. Our speaking quizzes have 4 questions in our ancillary book. I made it worth 35 points. Students earn 3 points for asking each question and 5 points for answering each question plus 3 points for being quiet when the students are speaking in the back of the class.

A writing assignment for German 1 students learning about hobbies. Students are writing to their German pen pal, talking about what activities they like to do during the week. Students are required to draw pictures, use new vocabulary (days of the week and hobbies), and write sentences using the "ich" form.

RAFT: School Subjects Writing Assignment
RAFT assignment for German students learning school vocabulary. This is a scoring guide, which is easily adaptable for other foreign languages, is used for a speaking test over the alphabet and the numbers 0-20. The students are given the scoring quide as a point of reference and for homework, they memorize the alphabet and numbers.
