1-3 students have the power to tag other students in their class. One tagged they must do the animal movement that the tagger has given them. Once finished, they put the animal card in the bucket. These task cards are great for managing the first ten minutes of P.E. while you, the teacher, are setting up a game or pulling out materials. Students lead their peers through a variety of exercises and practice teamwork and sportsmanship. Students love being team captains and I often grant the "Team Captain" title to the students that listened carefully and quietly while I explained the upcoming P.E. game (or use the "team Captain" as a reward for any behavior you're searching for).
