Pictures of the parent animal and the baby animal with labels. I have my students cut out all the pictures and glue the baby on the left end of a popsicle stick and the parent on the right side of the stick. You can also put them into a Bridge Map (Thinking Maps) with the relating factor being either "is a baby" or "is the parent of". Of course for this to be grammatically correct, you will need to add articles in front of the labels.
