In a 21 round simulation, students construct a West African political & economic landscape that shows changes over time, spanning the Bantu migrations, the arrival of camel caravans, the expansion of Islam, and the growth of kingdoms and states such as Ghana and Mali. Teacher key provided and PowerPoint guide. This simulation is ready to launch as is, so great also for sub plans. My students loved this simulation because it helped them visually connect to African history.
