I created these slides to go along with the handout and work through them one week at a time. The first week I go through the Non-Verbal choices and the Second Week I work through the Verbal choices. This slideshow helps to explain the five steps to communication and how breakdowns can occur in a way that is affirming for students of all communication styles. Scenarios are presented to help students talk through where the breakdown occurred and what they might do to help avoid or repair such breakdowns.
