Universal Visual Art Rubric
This is my tried and true rubric I've used in my art one classes for quite some time now. You can use this for ANY project. It is also student friendly, as I've had my students use it to grade themselves before turning work in also.
I always have students complete written self-reflections as part of their final assessments, hence my note at the bottom of the rubric, which you can certainly change if it doesn't fit your students.

Studio Habits Rubric for Visual Art Classes
This rubric is the high school art classes (or a project-based class). This can be modified for middle school. The rubric uses a 10 point grading scale, divided into 5 sections. This rubric can be used for daily or weekly behavior reports. The criteria includes participation, clean-up behaviors, on-task behaviors, contributing to the class, and attitude. For the final blank box I have my students decide as a class what they should be graded on, and depending on the class this can change.
